One year ago today, I published The Hopeful Gal’s Guide to IVF.
I had recently started a new corporate job. Tough gig. One girl shouldering the workload of three, with the emails still flying in as I drove home after doing overtime. The blog content suffered as a result.
When I finally got a week off, I started working on a blog post talking about the beginning of my IVF journey. 2,000 words later and I was still far from done. It was at that point that I thought I’d just spill everything I’d been through and self-publish it as a little ebook. After five days of intense scribbling at the kitchen table, I had it done, formatted and published on Amazon. 21st June, 2013.
It has spent most of that time in Amazon’s top 10 for the fertility category, and has a generous 4.5 star rating from eight reviews. I feel very lucky, and am so flattered that many found it helpful.
To mark the anniversary, I have set up a sale at Amazon so you can get the ebook for only 99c over the next five days. If you fancy. 🙂
Thank you all for your continued readership and support!
